I am an EFL teacher for 10 years, teaching at University of Science and Technology (Tagana),an awardee of two scholarships in online learning and CALL fields, a mother for three adorable monkeys (a fourth one on the way:-) and a lifelong learner. My interests fall in the pool of blended learning, CALL, online learning, Web 2.0 in ELF classrooms, critical thinking and online teacher professional development.

I am an assistant professor at the University of Khartoum. My original field of specialization is literature but as years passed I have moved away from literature to become "Jack of all trades". Currently I am the head of the department of English language teaching core and ESP courses throughout the university campus. As a mother of four I found the using computers helped me to save time and develop professionally just sitting every day for one hour or so. I would like to share what I learned with the participants of the workshop.
